Sculptor Sharon BuMann, of Central Square, N.Y., creates the 'Butter Cow' sculpture using 700 pounds of butter in the Dairy Barn at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Ill., Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006. So today I saw the above photo, and that reminded me that summertime in the United States is all about baseball, mom, and apple pie - oh, and also state fairs! This site, lists all of the state fairs that happen in the US, by state, and gives you a link to their websites.
