Seeing the Magic of Film Sites

hollywood escapes book.jpg Hollywood Escapes: The Moviegoer's Guide to Exploring Southern California's Great OutdoorsSo I saw this book today (awesome, see where you can: Hike THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE Trail, behold the KILL BILL Chapel, and enter THE DOORS Indian Caves)!, and it reminded me that if you live or visit Southern California, then you've got to see the places where movie magic is made. I actually created my own tour once. It's not perfect, as I found out while driving it, but it's still fun. It was all homes where TV shows were/are filmed, and just to give you a taste, here are three of the photos.

90210swalshhouse.jpg The Walsh's house from Beverly Hills 90210 (not in Beverly Hills ironicly enough - it's 1675 E. Altadena Drive, Altadena, Ca.)

charmedhouse.jpg The Charmed house, which sits on a row of Victorian houses (1329 Carroll Avenue, Los Angeles). The house next to it, which you can barely see, is the one that the Thriller video was filmed at.

sixfeetunderhousei.jpg And the Six Feet Under house, which if you watch the show, looks like it's surrounded by nothing, when in fact, it's surrounded by a lot of homes (2302 W. 25th Street, Los Angeles, CA.).

I have some other addresses and websites if you're interested, so just comment or email me.
