Watching the Olympics From Your Computer

Weren't able to fly out to the 2008 Beijing Olympics and see them in person? Well, read on for a listing of places you can go to see the Olympics online!

The best place will be NBC Olympics which will have multiple streams of live coverage + thousands of hours of saved video as well.

Partnering with NBC is TV Tonic, although the only people who can see their Olympics programming are those with Vista (sorry Mac and XP users!)

Other sites online include Watch-Olympics-Online, The BBC's site, China's CCTV site, Canada's CBC site, and many other places.

So good luck and enjoy this amazing gathering of athletes from all over the world!

No "Professional" Cameras Allowed at Beijing Olympics

If you're at, or planning on visiting the Olympics in Beijing, China, please note that you are forbidden from bringing in "professional camera equipment". What exactly this means, is anyone's guess. Does it mean a DSLR? Or does it merely mean a lot camera equipment, big lenses, etc? No one knows, but I'd be wary about bringing in a nice DSLR if I were you.

Just a friendly tip!
